Open Evenings
Our Open Evenings are an opportunity for young people and their parents/carers to find out more about Route2Work College. The event consists of a short presentation and opportunity to have a look around and talk to our staff.
Our June Open Event will be held at Jarrow Hall Farm, and is open to year 9, 10 and 11 students who may be considering Route2Work College for 2027/28 and following years.

Taster Days
Our Taster Days are an opportunity for young people to experience Route2Work College for themselves. These are two-hour sessions which involve participating in activities alongside current Route2Work students.
Initial Taster sessions are held at The Eco Centre, consisting of practical or classroom-based activities to provide a feel for college life. Our Vocational Taster offers a more focused experience helping your young person the decide the route that is best for them.
We recommend booking both an Initial Taster and a Vocational Taster. Please contact us using the form below for more information or to book onto one of the Taster Days.

Our Vocational Tasters provide an opportunity for your young person to participate in a focused vocational session. The Animal Care Taster will take place at Jarrow Hall Farm, with Health & Social Care, Land Based Studies and Customer Service all held at The Eco Centre. Please specify which vocation you will be attending in the form below.
