Our Open Evenings are an opportunity for young people and their parents/carers to find out more about Route2Work College. The event consists of a short presentation and opportunity to have a look around and talk to our staff.

Taster Days
Our Taster Days are an opportunity for young people to experience Route2Work College for themselves. These are two-hour sessions which involve participating in activities alongside current Route2Work students.
Initial Taster sessions are held at The Eco Centre, consisting of practical or classroom-based activities to provide a feel for college life. Our Vocational Taster offers a more focused experience helping your young person the decide the route that is best for them.
We require you to book one Initial Taster and one Vocational Taster. After these sessions, if you feel that your young person would benefit from attending another session or would like to try a different vocation, that can be arranged. Our Vocational Tasters provide an opportunity for your young person to participate in a focused vocational session. The Animal Care Taster will take place at Jarrow Hall Farm, with Health & Social Care, Land Based Studies and Customer Service all held at The Eco Centre. Please specify which vocation you will be attending in the form below.
